Caryl Roper, LPC
Caryl is a board certified and licensed professional counselor. She has enjoyed counseling individuals, couples, and families for more than 25 years. Caryl’s compassionate yet direct manner, guided by a keen intuition and spiritual foundation, has facilitated healing and change in the lives of her clients. Her therapeutic approach primarily involves two levels: 1) helping clients understand how their unique backgrounds, personalities, and experiences have impacted their current life status; and 2) identifying and capitalizing on their strengths to create positive changes.
Caryl has worked with individuals of all ages in a broad range of concerns, including the following: marriage/family challenges; eating disorders; drug/alcohol addictions; women’s issues; sexual abuse; identity issues; and existential/spiritual struggles. She incorporates primarily psychodynamic and cognitive-behavioral principles in her work with clients. Caryl’s greatest desire is to provide a safe, genuine place in which she can communicate and inspire hope in the heart of each person she has the privilege of counseling.
