Sonja Martin earned her Master’s degree in Social Work from Temple University and also has a B.A in Special Education. She is licensed in PA as a Clinical Social Worker.
She has had 6 years experience teaching learning support in middle and high schools, 4 years counseling individuals with substance addictions and 10 years counseling adolescents and adults with a wide variety of mental health diagnosis including depression, anxiety, bipolar, trauma and dissociative disorders, schizoaffective disorder, attention deficit disorder and personality disorders. She utilizes a variety of treatment approaches including cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, EMDR and Christian counseling to assist individuals in rediscovering their innate value and design to bring purpose and healing in the face of life’s challenges.
