Meghan Sarge, PsyD

About Meghan

Dr. Sarge is a clinical
neuropsychologist and licensed
psychologist in Pennsylvania, with
state certification in school
psychology. She provides
comprehensive neuropsychological
evaluations for children, adolescents,
and young adults. Her clinical
training includes experience with a
broad range of neurological and
neurodevelopmental conditions,
including attention-
deficit/hyperactivity disorder
(ADHD), autism spectrum disorder,
specific learning disorders,
intellectual developmental disorder,
concussion, traumatic brain injury,
epilepsy, pediatric cancer, and
genetic syndromes such as sickle cell
disease and neurofibromatosis type I.
She has also worked extensively with
children and adolescents
experiencing significant behavioral,
emotional, and attentional regulation
challenges.

Dr. Sarge also has experience
evaluating toddlers with early
medical histories such as
prematurity, hypoxic ischemic
encephalopathy, neonatal abstinence
syndrome, and cardiac conditions.
These early developmental
assessments play a critical role in
identifying delays and providing
timely recommendations that
support healthy cognitive, motor,
and language development as
children transition into school-age
years.

Her background in school
psychology enhances her ability to
translate neuropsychological findings
into meaningful, individualized
recommendations within the
educational system. It also equips her
to conduct Independent Educational
Evaluations (IEEs) to support
schools and families in
understanding and addressing a
student’s educational needs.

Besides evaluations, Dr. Sarge has
experience providing psychotherapy
services for children, adolescents,
and young adults using a variety of
evidence-based approaches,
including cognitive behavioral
therapy (CBT), acceptance and
commitment therapy (ACT), and
mindfulness-based interventions. She
has worked with neurodivergent
individuals, including individuals
with ADHD, learning differences, as
well as twice-exceptional individuals
(e.g., those with ADHD and
giftedness). She also brings over a
decade of experience working and
supporting children on the autism
spectrum. Dr. Sarge also has a
background in executive functioning
coaching, helping clients develop
practical skills for organization,
planning, and self-regulation.

In addition to her clinical work, Dr.
Sarge has contributed to graduate
and undergraduate education
through teaching and supervision.
Her academic experience includes
teaching coursework in
neuropsychological assessment,
statistics, and research methods.

I have always been drawn to
understanding the unique ways children
think, learn, and grow—and I consider
it a privilege to support families in
navigating these deeply personal and
important journeys. My approach to
neuropsychological evaluations is
thoughtful, collaborative, and centered
around the whole individual. I take
great care in gathering a full picture
through detailed history, objective
testing, and conversations with
caregivers and school teams to
understand each child’s strengths and
challenges. I believe evaluations should
do more than diagnose; they should offer
meaningful insight and clear, practical
guidance to help children thrive at
home, at school, and in the community.

I take a similar approach in therapy.
Whether we’re working on emotional
regulation, executive functioning, or
navigating the social world, my goal is
to equip children and families with tools
that feel useful, relatable, and
empowering. I strive to meet each child
where they are, and to support them in
building confidence, resilience, and self-
understanding.

It brings me great joy to be part of the
team at Providence Behavioral Health,
where I am surrounded by kind,
knowledgeable, and dedicated
professionals.
