Adam Miller, LMFT

Adam Miller is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who completed his M.S. in Marriage and Family Therapy from Fuller Theological Seminary in Pasadena, CA. He has worked in behavioral health since 2010. In that time he has provided therapy in community-based, day hospital, inpatient, and outpatient settings.

He considers it a privilege to join with clients on their journeys as they confront the varied issues preventing them from thriving. Adam works with clients throughout the lifespan, maintaining a holistic perspective of each person. He considers a person’s functioning across a variety of domains, which includes working to promote wellness emotionally, psychologically, physically, socially, spiritually and within family relationships.

His approach to psychotherapy is respectful and collaborative, trauma-informed, and solution-focused. He employs interventions from Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, mindfulness, and person-centered approaches to promote growth and positive change. When working with couples, he uses the Gottman Method to identify and disrupt the damaging cycles that can surface in our most intimate relationships. Adam works with LGBTQ populations and he is committed to anti-racism in his clinical practice. In his free time, he enjoys spending time outdoors running, hiking, & biking, reading, playing board games, volunteering at his church, and spending quality time with his his family.
