Carol Scheuerman, LPC

Carol Scheuerman is a Licensed Professional Counselor, earning her MA in Professional Counseling from Lancaster Bible College/Capitol Seminary and Graduate School. Her therapeutic approach is informed by Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Interpersonal Neurobiology, Internal Family Systems, and Attachment Theory. She is trained in Emotionally Focused Therapy for individuals and couples and the Gottman Method for couples.

Client centered and empathic in orientation, Carol seeks to create a safe place for patients to tell their story, address needs, and work collaboratively towards positive, hope-filled change.

Carol facilitates treatment with older adolescents and adults in the areas of grief and loss, anxiety disorders, mood disorders, relationship struggles, substance use disorders, trauma, and interpersonal communication.

Carol spent 23 years living and working overseas and brings a broad experience of cross-cultural adaptation. She has a passion to help adults and families with transition, change, grief and loss involved with international relocation.
