Carol Scheuerman earned her M.A. in Professional Counseling from Lancaster Bible College Capitol Seminary and Graduate School.
Carol spent 23 years living and working overseas and brings a broad experience of cross cultural adaptation. Carol’s integrated approach to psychotherapy includes psychodynamic principles, cognitive behavioral therapy, and existential/spiritual thought. Client centered and empathic in orientation, Carol seeks to create a safe place for clients to address needs, to realize self-worth, and to work towards positive, hope-filled change.
Carol facilitates treatment in the areas of grief and loss, anxiety disorders, mood disorders, substance use disorders, interpersonal communication, coping skills, stress-related struggles, transition and change, identity development, and cross-cultural adjustment. Carol also has a passion to aid children, adolescents, adults, and families with transition, change, grief, and loss involved with international relocation.
