Joanna Swartz, PsyD

 

Dr. Swartz is a clinical neuropsychologist and a licensed psychologist in Pennsylvania. She enjoys working with a range of adult through geriatric patients for various neuropsychological and neurological disorders, including multiple sclerosis, dementia, stroke, brain injury, and neurocognitive problems secondary to medical comorbidities, among others. She is a member of the National Academy of Neuropsychology, International Neuropsychological Society, and American Academy of Clinical Neuropsychology.

Dr. Swartz completed her graduate studies at George Fox University in Clinical Psychology with an assessment emphasis. Pre-doctoral clinical practicum sites included experience working in community mental health, university counseling, and completing neuropsychological evaluations in a primary care clinic. She completed an APA approved pre-doctoral internship through the Sioux Falls VA in South Dakota providing therapy and neuropsychological assessment services to a veteran population. She completed a postdoctoral residency at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville, PA, providing neuropsychological evaluations for adult patients with a variety of presenting concerns, including brain injury, dementia, and cognitive problems secondary to medical concerns.
